Nick Pedersen’s work combines his own photography, digital collage, and printmaking techniques to create elaborate, photorealistic images exploring environmental issues of the Anthropocene, an age marked by the human impact on nature. He portrays this as an epic struggle and in his work these forces clash in theatrical, post-apocalyptic battlegrounds. 

Utilizing his signature digital collage style, Pedersen will depict two possible futures for the Great Salt Lake ecosystem on opposing billboards along a major thoroughfare in the Poplar Grove neighborhood.
