We will be offering guided tours, scavenger hunts, opportunities to share your stories, and hands-on activities for our collective community as part of the “Local Voices: Stay Salty: Lakefacing Stories” plakat installation, a powerful showcase of 10 stories from Of Salt & Sand’s ongoing multimedia project exploring what it means to stay in Utah through economic transition and climate crisis. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with art, storytelling, and the vital narratives of our growing community working to protect the Great Salt Lake.

The “Local Voices: Stay Salty: Lakefacing Stories” plakat installation is made possible by Wake the Great Salt Lake, a temporary art project supported by the Salt Lake City Arts Council, the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office, and the Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge.
